About Dr. Jain Fairfax
Dr. Jain Fairfax is a pioneering psychotherapist, educator, artist, and creator whose life’s work has focused on helping children and families develop emotional resilience, self-confidence, creativity, and healthy human connection.
With more than 35 years of clinical experience as a licensed psychotherapist, Dr. Jain has devoted her career to understanding the emotional lives of children and creating innovative ways to support their growth and well-being. Her work blends psychology, music, movement, storytelling, imagination, and creative expression into transformative learning experiences that deeply engage both children and adults.
Dr. Jain is the co-author of the influential book Self Esteem, and the creator of the acclaimed “Emotional Fitness Training” and “Clown Power” programs, which explore emotional healing, confidence-building, creativity, and personal empowerment through experiential learning and artistic expression.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Jain is an award-winning artist, Broadway dancer, and choreographer whose creative background brings a rare depth of imagination, movement, and emotional expression to her educational programs.
She is also the creator, producer, and star of Mrs. Twizzleton’s Magic Garden — a unique story-based Social Emotional Learning program designed to help children ages 4–12 grow into emotionally strong, compassionate, confident, and resilient human beings.
Unlike traditional educational models that rely heavily on instruction and information delivery, Dr. Jain’s approach engages children through storytelling, song, creativity, emotional connection, gardening, movement, and playful discovery. He is the founder of DeepSky Business Building, a business consulting firm, and Agency for Earth, an organization focused on environmental education and socially responsible initiatives. He became a meditation teacher, QiGong instructor, and certified practitioner of NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model), an advanced therapeutic model focused on healing developmental and attachment trauma while supporting personal and social transformation.

Alejandro R. Torres is the Creative Director of Potting Shed Publishing, which produces the award-winning children's television series, Mrs. Twizzleton's Magic Garden. For over twenty years, he has shepherded the creative visions of Dr. Jain Fairfax to help bring these characters and stories to life. He leads the technical team that helps craft that creative vision and bring it to the screen.
